Some of our websites use cookies. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies help to make our website more user-friendly, efficient and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain in the memory of your device until you delete them. These cookies allow your browser to be recognized the next time you visit the website.
You can configure your browser to inform you about the use of cookies so that you can decide on a case-by-case basis whether to accept or reject a cookie. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies to ensure an optimal, technically error-free service. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. for the analysis of your surfing behavior) are also stored, these are treated separately in this data protection declaration.

Sending our newsletters with CleverReach allows us to analyze the behavior of newsletter recipients. Among other things, we can determine how many recipients opened the email containing the newsletter and how often various links contained therein were clicked. With the help of conversion tracking, we can also analyze whether a predefined action (e.g. the purchase of a product on our website) takes place after clicking on the link in the newsletter. You can find more information on data evaluation by CleverReach at www.cleverreach.com/de/funktionen/reporting-und-tracking/.
The data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DSGVO. You can revoke your consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The data processed until your revocation may continue to be processed lawfully.
If you do not want your use of the newsletter to be analyzed by CleverReach, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a link in every newsletter we send. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter directly on the website.
The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be used for sending the newsletter until you unsubscribe, after which this data will be deleted from our servers and those of CleverReach. Data that we have stored for other purposes (e.g. email addresses for the member area) remain unaffected.

 1. Our social media presences

We have created a separate privacy policy specifically for the use of our social media presences with detailed information under Privacy Policy Instagram/Facebook/XING/LinkedIn/Social Media. You can find it under the following link: https://www.ap-s.de/datenschutz (please add the correct link to the privacy information on social media/Facebook/Instagram).
Below we provide you with general data protection information on the use of social networks:

DATA PROCESSING THROUGH SOCIAL NETWORKS
We maintain publicly accessible profiles on social networks.

Social networks such as Instagram or Facebook can generally analyze your user behavior extensively when you visit their website or a website with integrated social media content (e.g. Like buttons or advertising banners). By visiting our social media presences, numerous processing operations relevant to data protection are triggered. In detail:
If you are logged into your social media account and visit our social media presence, the operator of the social media portal can assign this visit to your user account. However, your personal data may also be collected under certain circumstances if you are not logged in or do not have an account with the respective social media portal. In this case, this data collection takes place, for example, via cookies that are stored on your end device or by recording your IP address.
With the help of the data collected in this way, the operators of the social media portals can create user profiles in which your preferences and interests are stored. In this way, interest-based advertising can be displayed to you inside and outside the respective social media presence. If you have an account with the respective social network, the interest-based advertising can be displayed on all devices on which you are or were logged in.
Please also note that we cannot track all processing operations on the social media portals. Depending on the provider, further processing operations may therefore be carried out by the operators of the social media portals. For details, please refer to the terms of use and data protection provisions of the respective social media portals.

LEGAL BASIS
Our social media presences are intended to ensure the most comprehensive presence possible on the Internet. This is a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. The analysis processes initiated by the social networks may be based on different legal bases, which are to be specified by the operators of the social networks (e.g. consent within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO).

RESPONSIBLE PARTY AND ASSERTION OF RIGHTS
If you visit one of our social media sites (e.g. Instagram), we are jointly responsible with the operator of the social media platform for the data processing operations triggered during this visit. In principle, you can assert your rights (information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and complaint) both against us and against the operator of the respective social media portal (e.g. against Instagram).
Please note that despite the joint responsibility with the social media portal operators, we do not have full influence on the data processing operations of the social media portals. Our options are largely determined by the corporate policy of the respective provider.

STORAGE DURATION
The data collected directly by us via the social media presence is deleted from our systems as soon as the purpose for storing it no longer applies, you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Stored cookies remain on your terminal device until you delete them. Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.
We have no influence on the storage period of your data, which is stored by the operators of the social networks for their own purposes. For details, please contact the operators of the social networks directly (e.g. in their privacy policy, see below).

 1. Your current cookie settings and information

We also share information about your use of our website with our social media, advertising and analytics partners. Our partners may combine this information with other data that you have provided to them or that they have collected in the course of your use of the Services.
Cookies are small text files used by websites to make the user experience more efficient.
By law, we may store cookies on your device if they are strictly necessary for the operation of this site. For all other cookie types, we need your permission.
This site uses different types of cookies. Some cookies are placed by third parties that appear on our pages. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the cookie statement on our website. Learn more about who we are, how to contact us, and how we process personal data in our Privacy Policy. Please include your consent ID and the date when you contact us regarding your consent.

To manage the cookies and similar technologies used (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) and related consents, we use the consent tool "Real Cookie Banner". Details on how "Real Cookie Banner" works can be found at https://devowl.io/de/rcb/datenverarbeitung/.

Legal bases for the processing of personal data in this context are Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DS-GVO and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the related consents.

The provision of personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide the personal data. If you do not provide the personal data, we cannot manage your consents.
